About
Hello, I'm Francesca.
I am a German-licensed psychological psychotherapist (Approbation) and clinical psychologist (MA), working in the psychodynamic and psychoanalytic tradition. I am also a Registered Member of the BACP in the UK. I work in English and German.
What drew me to this work
I have always been drawn to what lies beneath the surface, in people, in relationships, in myself. Growing up between Germany and the UK, I learned early that identity is not fixed, that people carry more than they show, and that the gap between how we appear and how we feel can be vast.
I have remained curious ever since, about what shapes us, what holds us back, and what becomes possible when we meet ourselves honestly. That curiosity has guided everything: my training, my practice, and the way I show up in the room.
Alongside it runs a quiet but persistent question: what does it actually mean to live fully, to feel at home in one's own life?
Beyond the consulting room
Alongside clinical work, I have a long-standing practice of meditation, breathwork, and yoga, I am also a certified yoga teacher. Music has been a constant companion alongside all of this.
These practices shape how I listen, and how I understand the place of both body and mind in psychological change. They remind me that healing rarely happens through words alone, and that the body, attention, stillness, and engagement are part of the work too.
